Sandra Mitchell Obituary
Sandra K. (Winters) Mitchell, age 83, was reunited with her mother, Lillian and husband, Lloyd on June 23, 2021.
Born on February 7, 1938 in Appleton to the late Peter and Lillian (Roberts) Winters. She attended St. Therese, St. Joseph and graduated from Appleton West High School in 1956. She attended the Milwaukee and Green Bay Schools of Cosmetology, graduating in 1957. On May 10, 1958 she married Lloyd Mitchell and they shared 54 years together.
Sandy was blessed with the ability to have a conversation with anyone and always had a story to share with us. She loved to dance, fish, play poker, sing, draw, do word searches, bowl, dine out with friends and family, but especially loved being with her kids and grandkids. She was a Girl Scout leader, read to the kids at Columbus School, worked at Shopko, Speigels, Aldens, JC Penny and 2 Beauty Shops.
Sandy is survived by her children; Keith (Linda Stache) Mitchell, Barbara (Brian Heiting) Mitchell and Steven (Laura Konitzer) Mitchell; grandchildren Jestiss and Tyler and great grandchildren; Akira, Ivar and Barrett. She is further survived by her sister in laws; Florence Winters, Audrey Winters and Ann Mitchell as well as many nieces and nephews.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd, brothers; Gerald Winters and Duane Winters and brother in law Jerry Mitchell.
In keeping with Sandy's wishes, no services will be held.
