Lamers, Theresa J.

Theresa J. Lamers, age 86 of Sun Prairie, passed away in the comfort of her own home on May 3, 2013.

Theresa was born on September 19, 1926, to Henry and Johanna Van Nuland, the youngest of 12. She was united in marriage to Donald Lamers on August 31, 1948, in Kimberly, WI. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, walking, and golf.

Theresa is survived by her daughter, Gail (Lan) Waddell of Marshall, WI; her sons, Dean (Diana) Lamers of Combined Locks, WI; and Jay (Debra) Lamers of Kimberly; grandchildren, Sarah, Ben, Drew, Tina, Jamie, Rob, David, and Ashlee; great-grandchildren, Trent, Nora, and Miles; sister-in-law, Germaine Hietpas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and all her brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Drive, Sun Prairie at 11 a.m. on May 16, 2013, with Msgr. Terry Connors presiding. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church.
