Tom was an amazing and genuinely giving person, always sharing his knowledge with others and helping people become their personal best. Bev and Rebecca, please know all the love that Tom held for both of you. There was not a time I can remember that our conversations did not include proud updates on both of you. I am a better person for knowing Tom and he will forever be remembered as a dear friend to me and thousands of others at Pierce. May you Rest In Peace, Tom.

The Pierce family lost a great person when the Lord called Tom home. Tom was such a great mentor and friend to all those around him. He was so passionate about everything he did. Tom always had the customer in mind, like all great Pierce employees. He will be deeply missed by all those that he worked with. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family. Anyone that knew Tom is a better person because of it. Rest In Peace my Friend.

I am sadden hearing the news of Tom's passing. He became a friend in the short time I've known him. He welcomed me to Pierce, became a confidant and mentor. But he also was there with an ear to moisten, a shoulder to cry on, and strength for support. That support was greatly appreciated during the time if my wife's illness and passing. And as our career paths took us in different direction ed actions, he still was there. Sharing stories of our woodshop projects, asking about family, concern and support.
Prayers won't be enough. Know that he touched many people while he walked among us. I'll hold the memories of him dear. Both as a coworker and friend.

Tom was my supervisor in Engineering at Pierce. He was a great mentor, advocate for women and manager. His compassion, friendly demeanor, calm nature and strong leadership skills made Tom one of my favorite and most admirable bosses. My heart hurts knowing he is no longer with us. I am praying for Toms family and for Toms peaceful rest in heaven.

Tom Furdek
This man was my friend, he was my co-worker, mentor, engineer, dad, husband and race engine builder. Ask Tom to investigate and root cause an issue on a fire truck, he was your guy, just ask anyone! He could fix any issue and do it with the patience beyond any other I know. He was a rock, he knew the Lord, smiled all the time, loved his family, kept his word and was a hand shake kind of man you could always depend on or tap on the shoulder for help. He helped our race team immensely, ate with my family at our dinner table and showed my sons genuine kindness. He listened to me in times of need and we shared many other fun stories. You were a part of my life that I will not forget Tom, and for all that I shared with you, I will miss you my friend !!

My heart goes out to the family, Tom was a great guy, when he was near the dept. I work in he always swung in to say hello, he sure knew his way around a fire truck.

Tom and I just enjoyed a day bird hunting on December 18th. I always found him to be so personable, professional, helpful, & caring. We were business associates, but so much more. Your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Tom was the type of guy that you looked forward to being able to work. He was always kind, friendly, and calm. He had a wealth of knowledge and was eager to use that knowledge to help anyone that needed it. Tom will be greatly missed by his work family at Pierce Manufacturing.
