Tom, or Mr Weede, as I referred to him as, was my next door neighbor while I was living with the Gardey family during the international Rotary exchange program in 1979. Tom always made me feel welcomed, along with his family, who I shared some great times with. He was a big old bear, that used to scare me, but as I got to know him, realised that he was just a big old softy, who enjoyed a beer & a good laugh. RIP Tom.

My condolences to the family. Tom was an awesome man. I first met him when I moved to Roscommon in 1977 as a freshman. I have lots of memories of Tom. But wanted to share one story. In gym class I was not much of one to do physical activity and we would have to run. I was always at the back and the last one but Mr Weede would come to the back grab my hand and run me to the front of the line telling me I could do it. He did this every class I had with him. After high school I got to visit with him often by going to his business to buy my landscaping stuff and he would come into Rite Aide where I worked to shop and visit as well! He truelly will be missed! Prayers to the family!

Rip Coach....Your class was always best part of the day! He always had a great sense of humor and a kind word for everyone and he deeply cared about his students. He taught me how to tape up my shins so that I could keep going and instilled that never quit attitude in me and every kid he coached. We are all lucky and better off for having known such a great person. My sincerest condolences,Kim Klein

I had Tom as a gym teacher in high school gym class in Roscommon. One of the few people who ever called me "Bobby!"
I worked for him and Cinna a few years part time at the Bushel Basket. They were great people to work for.
Two wonderful people who would do anything for you.
Glad I got to know you both.
You're truly going to be missed by many!

Mr. Weede was one of the kindest teacher I have ever known........even though I refused to dress out or participate in gym.....for the entire year I might add......he was never mean or upset with me.....(didn't pass me either but... :D Gym just wasn't my thing....but Mr Weede was my kinda guy.....always kind and understanding.
If you're lucky you find one or two teachers in your lifetime that you really really like......Mr Weede was one of those teachers for me. Later on when I began a family of my own I'd stop to see him and buy my vegetables at the Bushel Basket where I could always find a good chat and a smile from Mr Weede.
A one of a kind man that will always be cherished and missed.

Mr. Weede was a BIG part of our teen years. Few people knew that Tom and Dad were 2/3rds of the original "Tom Dick & Harry" while at CMU. Along with Harry Moore, the friendships lasted the length of each man's life. Now they're having a beer in the End Zone. Bless their hearts.

Never had Mr. Weede for any classes but saw him all the time in the halls of Menasha High(class of 65). He was a mans man and from what I was told a good teacher.
Prayers to the family and hold all the memories close to your heart.
