Dawn ( Sunny) The youngest daughter

It broke my heart to lose you
But you did not go alone
A part of me went with you
The day God took you home

If tears could make a stairway
And heartache could make a lane
I'd walk my way to heaven
To bring you back again

In life I loved you Daddy
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
That Noone ever will

You will be missed daddy. Please look down on mom and let her know you are still with her and us.

You were and still are one awesome dad and friend, and I am so glad we were so close thru all these years. Many good times of laughter and tears.

You're forever in my heart. Love you

I met Vern during my stay at Parkview. Vern was my neighbor across the hall. He was such a sweet, caring man. Vern if you are looking down down, 1st I want to say, I am so sorry I didn't get back out to see you, but you know now I am ok here by myself. Thank you for worrying about me. I am so blessed to have met you & your family. I know you are so proud of them. You & Evelyn were so kind to me & I enjoyed the many conversations we had. Thank you for being a part of my journey in life. I will miss you as so many other lives you have touched. My sincere thoughts & prayers are with Vern's family. Missing you Vern. We know you will be an Angel on Evelyn"s shoulder. God Bless

Vern was a humble man with a big heart. My husband and I were maintenance managers at Highland where he and his wife Evelyn lived. I remember Vern always being the first one to follow the mail lady to the mailboxes. My husband Jerry and I fell in love with Vern and Evelyn. Vern you will be dearly missed by many people. You touched many hearts in so many ways. Vern what is it like in heaven? Is it peaceful, with no pain? Now it's your job to watch over Evelyn. Let her know when you are around. Give her a sign that she will know it's you. Love you Vern.
