Wanda and family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Al's passing. He was truly the single most positive influence in my adult life. He was kind and humorous as well quietly firm when I needed it as a young sailor. Following my own 21 year Naval career he hired me as a shift supervisor and resumed his mentoring. Although we had not kept in close touch, I have always held him in the highest regard and considered him family. Rest easy shipmate, we have the watch.

Dear Wanda and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know Al was loved by all and he was a great man. May God hold you all in His hands during this time of sorrow but also know you will meet again.

Al was a friend, a professional, and a good man to work with and for.
At first, I was scared of him in the workplace, then he became a mentor and a defender. My respect and admiration for him runs deep.
I am sadden at his passing, but joyful I knew him.
Until we meet again, Al...until then.

So sad to hear of Al's passing. Thinking of Wanda and the whole family with deepest heartfelt sympathy. I remember I was the flower girl at their wedding The high school sweethearts. Also remembering the visits to our family home during Al and Wanda's travels.
