Barbara Robison Wilcox, 73, passed away Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Barbara was born Feb. 11, 1941, in Rigby, a daughter to Ivan "Tim" Ormond Robison and Loretta Ellen Larsen Robison. She was raised in the Lyman, Idaho, and Rexburg areas, attended elementary school in Lyman and graduated from Madison High School. She attended Idaho State University and studied accounting. She worked at Mickelson's Lumber as a bookkeeper and at Fresh Pak.
She married Charles M. Wilcox on Oct. 25, 1963, in Las Vegas. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Aug. 26, 1971.
She was a member of the LDS church and served in the Relief Society, taught and was a girls softball coach. She enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling, grandchildren, having lunch with friends and was very competitive playing cards and board games. She was fondly known as Grandma Vegas. Her family was number one to her. She loved animals, being outdoors, camping and was a crack shot with a .22.

She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Wilcox of Rigby; her daughter, Leslie (Jim) Mayer of Idaho Falls; two sons, Zane (Jennifer) Wilcox of Rigby and John (Jeannette) Wilcox of Kamiah, Idaho; two brothers, Brent (Sherry) Robison and Charles (Marcia) Robison, both of Rexburg; and eight grandchildren, Rachael, Zachary and Rebecca Mayer, Austin, Dillon, Chynna, Sydney and Wyatt Wilcox.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tim and Loretta Robison.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, in Rigby 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 401 West First South in Rigby. The family will visit with friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Eckersell Memorial Chapel 101 West Main St., in Rigby, and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
