It is with great sorrow that the family of Bo Jody Taylor, 19, of Blackfoot, announces his passing Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, in Montpelier, Idaho, from injuries sustained in an accident while doing what he enjoyed and loved.
Bo was born Jan. 12, 1995, in Idaho Falls, the son of Jody Taylor and April Collins. Bo graduated from Butte High School in Butte, Mont. Bo was an all-around athlete. He excelled in track, wrestling and his favorite of all, football, where he and his teammates brought home the state championship his senior year.
He worked for Taylor Construction, his lifelong goal and dream.
Bo also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping at his granny and grandpa's cabin, fireworks, motorcycles and spending time with friends and family. Bo lived his life to the full extent.
He had a heart of gold. Anyone that had the honor of meeting him knew he was special. Bo put his all into everything he did. He never gave up on anything or left a job undone, even to the end.
He is survived by his parents, Jody (Autumn) Taylor of Blackfoot and April (Ron) Collins of Idaho Falls; sisters, Brittni (Zach) Bench of Blackfoot, Josie and Megan Taylor of Idaho Falls; brothers, Treston, Colby and Clayton Taylor of Blackfoot; his loving companion, Ariauna DeLoera of Blackfoot; nieces and nephews, Remmi Bench, McCray Bench and Luke Cooney, all of Blackfoot; and grandparents, Keith (Penny) Taylor of Blackfoot, Walt (Terri) LeProwse of Melrose, Mont., and Susan LeProwse of Idaho Falls.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Don and Mary Taylor; great-grandfather, Marvin Reader; grandparents, Bill and Lois LeProwse; and grandfather, Forrest Hunter.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. in Blackfoot. The family will meet with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, and from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Thursday prior to services at the funeral home.

Having never met Bo before, we wanted to pay respect for him during the Derby this weekend. I'm sure it would have been amazing to get to run with such an amazing guy. We made sure we carried Bo's name on the car in respect and I wanted to dedicate my win in memory of Bo. God's speed, and may you rest in peace.

During Bo's junior/senior year in high school he dated my daughter. During the Summer in-between the two were in a boating accident in which they knocked heads while tubing. Bo proved he was a man at seventeen. My daughter suffered a serious head injury and Bo took care of her at every step. He stayed with her at the emergency room, and then the RMC one hundred twenty miles away for three days sleeping on a daybed beside her. He took loving care of her at age seventeen. Bo was a man. He cared for and loved my daughter for which I'm very grateful. Bo was as tough as nails, we know. But there is also the other part of being a man. The part of being a caring, gentle human being who cared about others, which Bo Taylor proved to my family and me. It is with the greatest sorrow to you Taylors, that Bo has past. Bo Taylor was the finest young man I've ever met. .

We knew Bo such a short time, but in that short space of time we fell in love with him. He was a joy to be around. We are grateful for his and your friendship. His spirit was filled with the love you gave to him growing up. May that love fill you with comfort now. We will be there in thought and prayer for all of you tomorrow. Huge hugs from both of us.

I have known Bo since about 6th grade and we have been friends ever since. We always hung out in the same group together, and he was always the one to make everyone laugh. He had such a good heart and would always help others in need. I don't think i ever saw Bo without a smile on his face. I will always have a special place in my heart for him.
So sorry for your loss, if there is anything you need feel free to let me know!

Such a tough time. Bo has been a very close friend since 6th grade. We have had so many memories together and a ton I will never forget. It's amazing when you come a cross those people that you could never point out one thing bad about them. He was always loving, always smiling and don't even get me started on his laugh. It was awesome getting to play with him (Rocky Mtn) and against him (Sawtooth vs Heritage). Bo will always be my brother. I can find peace in knowing how many people he impacted, how many people love him and that he was able to obtain his dream job and dream girl. He will never be forgotten and I will forever carry on what he has taught me.. Smile always and love all. RIP My bro for life Bo Taylor

I taught Bo in Freshmen English and he always had a smile on his face and was genuinely a great person with an infectious laugh. Usually when a student moves on in their education, previous years' teachers seem to be forgotten by kids. Bo continued to talk to me in the halls throughout his high school years and I appreciated that. He will remain a superstar in my book forever. My favorite quote fits here. "If the importance of a man's life can be measured by the number of friends and loved ones they leave behind then Bo Taylor is king." Thank you, Bo, for being tremendous!

My daughter Justine and I were so saddened by hearing about the loss of Bo. Bo was my patient at Guymon Orthodontics. He always had a smile and joked with me. I hold a special place in my heart for certain patients, and he was definatley one of them. My daughter Justine had classes with him while they were at Rocky Mnt HS before you moved. She also talks highly of this young man who's life has ended way too soon. As Justine said; the angel's picked a good one. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all. May you find comfort in each other and may God wrap his arms around you during this difficult time. Bo will be greatly missed, but NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!!!
