Eric Beck Obituary
Eric Jon Beck, 54, of Idaho Falls, passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at EIRMC.
He was born Nov. 19, 1960, in Saline, Mich., to Dallas Leith Beck and Jerrolyn Marie Jensen.
Eric graduated from Madison High School in 1979.
He married Tina Dearborn, and to that union, two children, Brandon and Amy, were born. They later divorced.
On March 21, 1987, he married Charlotte Campbell Furness in Terreton.
He lived in: Saline and Flint, Mich., Seattle, Rexburg and Idaho Falls.
Eric was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He farmed and worked as a dispatcher for AJ Trucking.
He enjoyed golfing, reading, snow skiing, water skiing, soft ball, wrestling, piano and band when he was in high school. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Beck of Idaho Falls; children, Brenna (Ryan) Meikle of Casper, Wyo., Kimberly (Dave) Merrill of Caldwell, Idaho, and Joshua (Annie) Beck, Scott (Sherrie) Beck and Brandon Beck, all of Rigby, and Amy (Mark) Woolley of Salt Lake City and Tara (JD) Burton, Jessica (Martin) Hoffman-Ramirez, Bryan Beck, Jamie (Mike) Buchholz and Alicia (Miguel) Romero-Miranda, all of Idaho Falls; parents, Dallas and Jerrolyn Beck of Washington, Utah; brothers, David (Cindy) Beck of Teton, Paul (Sherrie) Beck of Rigby and JD (Jennifer) Beck of Egin, Idaho; sisters, Julie (David) Robinson of Monticello, Utah, Suzann (Corey) Edlefsen of Parker and Kris (Guy) Rainey and JaNell (Ben) Hansen, both of Burton, Idaho; and 26 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Rex and Vira Hall Jensen, and Leith and Ada Beck, and grandson, Drake.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at the LDS Church at 651 Gladstone St. Family will meet with friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Burton Cemetery, West 2600 South in Madison County.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot, Idaho 83221, to help family with expenses.
