Lisa Bernadette Noman, born to parents Daniel and Dorothy (Fledsted) Cullen in Pocatello, Idaho, on Jan. 17, 1961, passed away at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center on Feb. 19, 2018.
Lisa and her family moved from Pocatello to Idaho Falls, Idaho, when she was 6. Lisa was a dear friend to all throughout her school years; here, she also met her one true love, Michael Norman. She went on to marry her high school sweetheart April 2, 1982. Their family soon grew with the birth of their son Anthony and later their son Shane.
Lisa had an avid love of the outdoors and loved fishing with her family, believing "God adds to our allotted time the hours we spend fishing." She also enjoyed reading and sketch artistry. Lisa was a devoted, loving and selfless wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all. She had an inner light that drew children to her, and she had a way of making everyone around her feel welcomed and loved.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Ann Cullen; her husband, Michael Paul Norman; her sister, Tracy Spaulding; her two sons, Anthony P. (Emily Rhodes) and Shane M. Norman; and her four grandsons, Cullen Paul Norman, Fionn Keefe Norman, Phelan Saemus Norman and Conall Alton Norman.
A service for family and close friends will be held at Turtle and Crane Assisted Living, building two, today, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. Additional parking will be available to the rear of the building. Due to medical restrictions, the family would ask in lieu of flowers, donations are made in Lisa's name to St. Luke's Hospital and the United Service Organization. My thoughts and prayers are lifted up for you all. My heart grieves. I think about the many hours, conversations, and experiences Lisa and I shared in junior high and high school. I am so sad our different paths did not reconnect as we journeyed through our adult lives. However, Lisa's laugh, joy, insightful wisdom, and loving friendship will always be a part of who I am. May God's abundant peace and love comfort you all during this time.
