Maria Martineau Danielson, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away Feb. 27, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Maria was born Oct. 2, 1959, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to James Duane Martineau and Sylvia Birch Martineau. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Linden Park Elementary and O.E. Bell Junior High School.
On Nov. 10, 1973, she married Ricky Lee Danielson in Idaho Falls. To this union were born three children, Amy, Bekey and an infant son. Maria and Ricky made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Maria was a homemaker.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was creative and enjoyed arts, crafting, music, gardening, camping, taking road trips and cooking.
Maria is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Ricky Danielson, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; daughter, Amy Kaylene (Don) Jensen, of Sorrento, Florida; daughter, Bekey Danielson, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; mother, Sylvia (Earl) Birch Cannon, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; brother, William David Martineau, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sister, Michelle (Mark) Martineau-Robinson, of Pocatello, Idaho; and five grandchildren, Ethan Hayes, Hayden Jensen, Daniel Espinosa, Deanna Jensen and Coraline Espinosa.
She was preceded in death by an infant son; her brother, James Duane Martineau; and her grandparents.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at Wilford Cemetery, 2550 E. 225 N. Burial will be in Wilford Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
