Ruth Charlotte Boylan, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 10, 2017, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.
Ruth was born Aug. 10, 1944, in Medicine Bow, Wyoming, to Charles Mack Boylan and Mildred Ruth Ross Boylan. She grew up and attended schools in Lander, Wyoming, and graduated from Lander High School.
In 1962, she married George Morris Waring in Laramie, Wyoming. They had two daughters, Kelly and Jeanne. They were later divorced. On Sept. 25, 1968, she married Billy Leon Tunks in Thermopolis, Wyoming. To this union were born two children, Billy and LeeAnne. Billy passed away in 1973. Ruth later worked as a nurse's assistant in Denver and settled in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to be near family.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and rock collecting.
Ruth is survived by her son, Billy Leon (Lori) Tunks, of Rigby, Idaho; daughter, Jeanne Louise Waring, of Thermopolis, Wyoming; son-in-law, Alan Cousin, of Ammon, Idaho; brother, Don Boylan, of Casper, Wyoming; sister, Linda (Roy) Bonner, of Alpine, Wyoming; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, George Waring and Billy Leon Tunks; and daughters, Kelly Ann Cousin and LeeAnne Tunks.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 17, at Ammon Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
