Sam Earle Obituary

Sam passed away on August 11, 2024, after a tough battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a result of agent orange exposure in Vietnam.

Born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on September 5, 1945 to Leo Albert Earle (Sam) and Reba Della Earle. He was the oldest brother and good friend to his siblings Mike, Scott, and Aileen.

"Steve" grew up in Ashton, Idaho and graduated from North Fremont High School in 1963, then went on to serve in Vietnam with the 116th Combat Engineer Battalion.

Sam moved to Salt Lake City where he met Natalie Bowden. They married and had three children. As a family, they were active with the Sports Car Club of America, spending weekends on the track, competing in road and slalom car races, until they divorced in 1987.

Sam met and married his life partner Angela "Angie" Conk in 1988 and relocated to Colorado. Sam was devoted to Angie and the special life they created together.

He is survived by his wife, his siblings, his children Matthew, Michelle, and Stacey (Tim), and five grandchildren. Sam should be remembered for being creative, patient, and an incredible listener. In memory, listen to some Pink Floyd, drive some fun cars, and carry humor in your life everywhere. www.taborfuneralhome.com
