Stephanie Lynn Osborne

1967 - 2024

Stephanie Lynn Osborne, 56, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Portneuf Medical Center after a brief illness.

Stephanie was born June 7, 1967 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Steve Michael and Rosalinda Orosco Maestas.

Stephanie attended schools in Pocatello and Kemmerer, Wyoming, then moved to Blackfoot, where she graduated high school.

On June 15, 2013, Stephanie and Lance Osborne were married in Alpine, Wyoming.

She worked in the Walmart bakery for the past 21 years. Prior to that, she had also worked at Melina's restaurant and had owned the Oregon Trail restaurant in Fort Hall for numerous years.

Stephanie loved riding with Lance on his motorcycle. She also enjoyed decorating cakes and was famous for her tamales and salsa. She especially loved being with her family and friends.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Lance Osborne; her children, Courtney Rae Galloway of Fort Hall and Jeremy Daniel "J.D." (KayCee) Galloway of Pocatello; her father, Steve (Chris) Maestas of Pocatello; her siblings, Joseph (Richard) Sotelo of Roy UT, Michelle (Joe) Imperiale of West Jordan UT, Beronica (Tim) Chavez of Blackfoot ID and Michael (Frey) Maestas of Salt Lake City UT; her grandson, Thomas Anthony Galloway; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosalinda Chavez, grandparents Toby Maestas, Teofila Padilla, Balbina and Juan Orosco.

Services will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot.

Burial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, at the Ross Fork Creek Cemetery/Deepwater Cemetery with a reception following at Melina's Restaurant in Blackfoot. Those wanting to donate toward Stephanie's funeral expenses are invited to make those donations at Hawker Funeral Home.
