Steven Turpin Obituary
Steven Lynn Turpin, 65, of Pocatello, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Portneuf Medical Center from a massive heart attack.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., in Blackfoot. Family will meet with friends and relatives from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

So sad to hear of Steven's passing, a real shock. He was a great cousin, loved to catch water-skippers together when we were young. We had so much fun together. He then married one of my dear friends.

It made me so sad for you and your family when I read about Steven in the paper. I haven't been in touch with you since our days in college but I have thought of you often. Sorry to hear about Steve's passing. I remember, as a youth, fishing with him at Island Park, exploring old farm houses and barns in Thomas and chasing tadpoles at his mom and dads place. Much to remember.

Grandpa had a beautiful service. I'm sorry we couldn't be there in person but so thankful to be able to watch it here. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sending our love to you all. We miss you Grandpa thank you for out time together.

The Goodwin clan also sends their best wishes and deepest sympathies to the Turpins. I remember Steven and Larry playing baseball with me and Gary in our back yard and on the road half way between our two houses. Steven also helped us move sprinkler pipe on the desert every morning during the summer. Neighbors, relatives and best friends were the Turpin family. We no longer live close to each other , but we will always be relatives and friends. Best wishes to you all!!

I will always remember the great times we shared in our youth. Best cousin ever. Picking potatoes was alot more fun because of him. I was in that hospital on the day he passed and didn"t know he was there. Was welcoming a new grandson in
