In 1978 she moved to Lake George, NY and resided in the beautiful Adirondack Lake community. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake George where she served as an Extraordinary Minister.
She is survived by her three daughters: Mrs. Cynthia Marcelletti and her spouse, Joseph, Sr., Mrs. Linda Thanos and her spouse, Lennon Peele, and Mrs. Nancy Penrose, and her (now deceased) spouse, Orval Penrose; Blanche was the loving and cherished grandmother to four grandchildren: Joseph Marcelletti, Jr., Jesse Marcelletti, Matthew Wilkening and John Wilkening; and five great-grandchildren: Anthony Marcelletti, Joseph Marcelletti, Nicholas Marcelletti, Sebastian Marcelletti, and John W. Cindy and family, Thinking of all the years of knowing Blanche and enjoying her sparkling humor when we worked together at Honigsbaums. I moved back to this area from California in 2014 and although I had not seen Blanche in a very long time, I thought of her so often. I remember visiting your home, Cindy and other good times at Glen St and at Lake George. Your Mom was a very special woman to all who knew her and will be remembered by many.
