POTTERSVILLE, NY - Cody John Remington 39, died unexpectedly Thursday January 29, 2026 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by his family.
Born July 30, 1986 in Glens Falls, New York.
Cody was employed at Buckman's Family Fuel in Chestertown for 25 years. He enjoyed riding his side by side with his wife and son on the local trails. He enjoyed playing RC Cars with his son Carson for hours. Cody enjoyed family gathers and rides around the Brant Lake area. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather John Remington, maternal grandfather Harold "Hoppy" Frasier, step- maternal grandfather George Leonard.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years Carrie A. Remington whom he married December 13, 2014, one son Carson Remington, father Earle Remington, mother Michelle "Mickey" Frasier, brother Justin Remington, paternal grandmother Gertrude Remington, maternal grandmother Sylvia Leonard, step-paternal grandmother Arleen Frasier, also many cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday February 5, 2026 at Horicon Baptist Church St Rte 8 Brant Lake, NY 12815. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the church.
Donations to benefit children affected by foster care at https://donate.togetherforyouth.org/forms/one-time-gift or mail to Together for Youth (Foster Care Agency) 203 Main St. Hudson Falls, NY 12839 in memory of Cody Remington.
