Doris J. Warrick
CLIFTON PARK - Doris J. Warrick, age 91, died on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side. Doris was born to the late Clifford Leo and Isabella Mae (Johnston) Adams.
Doris had a full and rewarding life as wife, mother, grandmother, friend to many. Doris and family resided in Hoosick Falls, NY as she worked for 25-plus years at Mary McClellan Hospital, starting out in the front office and finishing her career as the Hospital Administrator for many years. In her free time Doris loved gardening, playing golf, knitting and crocheting, painting, and ceramics. Growing up, Doris enjoyed working on her parents' dairy farm in the Watertown, NY area.
Doris was a long-time communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church until late in her life. She also stayed active in the community as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Halfmoon and Shenendehowa Senior Centers.
Along with her parents, Doris is predeceased by her husband, Francis R. Warrick and daughter, Susan M. Remillard.
Doris is survived by her children: Clifford J. Warrick (Diane), F. Martin Warrick, Frederick S. Warrick (Robin), MaryAnn Wolfe, Judith Conway (Paul Morrett), Nancy Warrick and Pamela Furlon; son-in-law John Remillard; and her multitude of adored grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Doris' family would like to thank the staff at Saratoga Hospital, Dr. Matt Pender and staff, along with Saratoga Hospice.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake NY. Please note, occupancy limits, social distancing and masks will be required.
A private Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. and will be available to view via livestream at Doris's Book of Memories on the Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home website.
Interment will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Doris's name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
