HUDSON FALLS - Mr. Frank Wayne Goodbred, 73, of Hudson Falls, passed away early Sunday morning at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Amsterdam, NY on June 10, 1947 a son of the late Domenica Musillo and Clark Goodbred, Sr.
He went to night school, while raising a family, to earn his High School diploma in 1966.
Wayne was a Construction Safety Contractor and worked at many different locations, including New York City and around the world. He loved spending time with his family. Wayne had another love, the horses, especially going to Saratoga Race Track. In his last years he also enjoyed talking and being with his friends at the BrookView Estates.
He is survived by a son, Timothy Goodbred and his wife Rachel of Kingsbury, NY; three daughters: Kelly T. Smith and her husband Karl of of Hudson Falls, NY, Kimberly A. Sipowicz and her husband Scott of Hudson Falls, NY and Corrie Blair of Glens Falls, NY; cherished grandchildren: grandsons: Kyle Sipowicz and his wife Winter, Jake Sipowicz, Nathan Smith, Matthew Goodbred and Braedyn Blair; granddaughters: Kylie Goodbred, Alyssa Kelleher and Jazmyn Blair; one great grandson, Lucas Sipowicz; brother, Clark Goodbred, Jr. and his daughter Natalie; and sisters: Sharon Sears, her son Stephen (Roberta) Caputo, her sons: Frank and Christopher; and daughter Elisa and Dominie Thompson and her children Nikki and Bobbi; several other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him.
The family wishes to express thanks to Glens Falls Hospital and staff on Tower 2, 5 and 6. We experienced great care and many wonderful individuals. Many heartfelt thanks also to cousin Marty and his family, as well as cousin Vincent and his family. So much kindness and support over the years, they're not enough words to express the thankfulness we feel. A big thank you to the Brookview Estate family, who was so good to dad, you all made his last years bearable and enjoyable.
A Celebration of Wayne's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Betz, Rossi and Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam NY 12010. Please leave condolences online at www.brbsfuneral.com.
