Kathleen A. Miranda, 62, passed away on November 6, 2024, in Albany, NY. Born on June 22, 1962, in Glens Falls, NY, Kathleen was known for her compassionate spirit and selfless nature.
Throughout her life, Kathleen was a cornerstone of support and love for her family and friends. As a dedicated nurse, she touched the lives of many patients, guiding them through their recovery with kindness and empathy. Her colleagues valued her deeply for her commitment and teamwork.
Kathleen's roles as a mother and grandmother were filled with joy and dedication. She cherished her time shopping and enjoying spa days with her granddaughter, Natalie, creating lasting memories. Her partnership with her husband was filled with laughter and mutual support, making every challenge they faced together easier.
Kathleen is survived by her loving husband, Keith Miller; her daughter, Kassandra Miranda; her sons, Michael Miranda and Matthew Miranda; her mother, Lindy Buttles; her brothers, Bernard Buttles and Leroy Buttles; her sister, Kellie Meade; and her beloved granddaughter, Natalie. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Buttles.
Visitation to honor Kathleen's life will be held on Thursday, November 14, from 11:00 AM, to 1:00 PM, at the Regan Denny Stafford Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Rd, Queensbury, NY. This will be followed by a brief ceremony at Southside Cemetery, South Glens Falls, where family and friends are encouraged to share their memories and tributes.

The news about Kathy's untimely passing was hard to hear. We met at work, where she guided me with wisdom and remarkable skill through many difficult situations as a fresh grad. I valued her as a woman of extraordinary character, personal integrity and deep compassion. As a wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, Kathy loved her family deeply through joyful and also challenging life's moments. Kathy was my very best friend in high school. I haven't seen her in so many years, wish we never lost touch. She looks beautiful in the photo, just like I remember. My sincere condolences to her entire family. She is a heart and soul that will be greatly missed.
