Linda Bell Obituary

Linda Toman Bell

June 5, 1959 - December 14, 2025

DAY - Linda Toman Bell died on December 14, 2025, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born in Middle Granville, NY, on June 5, 1959. She is predeceased by her parents, Richard and Elizabeth Toman of Middle Granville, NY.

Linda raised three children (impressively) and earned a Registered Nursing (RN) degree at SUNY Adirondack. She was a nurse for more than three decades and worked as a nurse and nurse manager at Hudson Headwaters and Evergreen Health Center in Corinth, NY. It was while working at Evergreen Health Center that she met her husband, Dr. Michael Bell. Linda loved being with her friends in the woods, climbing mountains, and spending time with her family and her dogs. She loved to travel, bake, paddle in the lake, and garden. Linda was a force in life, and now in death.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Michael Bell of Town of Day, NY, and their three children, Rob (Sage), Adam (Kate), and Jenn (Randy) Vanderminden, as well as five grandsons, two granddaughters, her siblings, and a fantastic circle of friends.

Her family is planning a celebration of life for a later date. In place of flowers, please send donations to Community Hospice or Lucky Puppy Pet Rescue in Argyle, NY.

At St. Mary's Episcopal I met Linda many years ago. Quick with her bright smile, always sharing a kindness. Linda was naturally compassionate & caring and perfect as my medical provider at Evergreen back when. I am so sorry for her family's loss. But how can I be sad when I know Linda is happier than ever. She's dancing with Jesus and the Angels!
