SARATOGA SPRINGS - Mary Anne LaPoint passed away November 9, 2025. Mary Anne was beautiful, loving and an absolute blast. She began her career as a talented hairdresser, bringing joy to everyone who sat in her chair, and later fulfilled her lifelong dream of become a nurse after earning her bachelor's degree of nursing.
She is deeply missed by her children, Crystal LaPoint and John Grogan; her beloved granddaughter, Amara Grogan; her brother Bob Whipple, and many nieces and nephews.
We take comfort in knowing that she has been joyfully reunited with her mother Ethel Sawyer, her brother Leslie Whipple and her best friend Luanne Beale - and we're certain they are already up to no good together. She's also back with her loyal dog, Jimmy Chew who no doubt greeted her with a wagging tail.
Per her wishes, there will be no service.
Arrangements have bee entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, 68 Main Street, Hudson Falls, NY 12839.
