Robert "Bob" Edward Bigelow
Dec. 28, 1940 - March 17, 2024
HUDSON FALLS - Robert "Bob" Edward Bigelow, 83, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2024, at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on December 28, 1940, in Fort Edward, he was the son of the late John and Elsie (Waite) Bigelow.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Bigelow, his beloved son, Robert Labshere II, his beautiful daughter, Shelly Labshere, his precious grandsons: Robert Labshere III and Brian Bigelow, Jr., his son-in-law, Harry J. Rivers, Jr.
Left to cherish his memory include his children: Dan (Bonnie) Labshere, Deborah Labshere, Robert (Patty) Bigelow, Brian (Cindy) Bigelow, Sr., Sherry Rivers and Michael (Terry) Bigelow; his sisters: Sally (David) Corlew, Linda (Doug) Smith, Kathy Bigelow; and many precious grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At Bob's request, there will be no calling hours. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Donations in Bob's memory can be made to the C.R. Wood Cancer Center c/o Glens Falls Hospital Foundation, 126 South Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
