Robert Little Obituary
Robert "Bob" P. Little, age 79, of Macedonia, OH. It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Robert Little. He passed away on August 28, 2024, from complications following a recent surgery. Bob was born on March 12, 1945, to William and Adeline Little in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a proud 1963 graduate of Montour High School. He served honorably in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and later in the Air National Guard. Bob met the love of his life, Susan, while corresponding during the Vietnam War, and they were married on February 14, 1970. He graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh in 1973 and subsequently obtained his CPA license. He later served as the Local Chapter President of the Institute of Internal Auditors. After many years, he ended his career as Vice President of Audit at Key Bank, retiring in 2011.
During his lifetime, Bob was an avid craftsman, who built many beautiful pieces of furniture for his family. He was extremely creative and inventive and there was no job he could not handle-earning himself the nickname, "Bob the Builder". Our Papa Bear had a considerate, unselfish, loving heart, and he willingly gave so much of himself to others. He deeply loved his family and friends and will be sorely missed by us all. Bob also had other loves in his life, including meatloaf, a good cup of coffee, macaroni & cheese with ketchup, back scratches, and political emails.
He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. He is survived by his bride of 54 years, Susan; his three children, Hollie(y), David (Michelle), and Megan (Matt) Pacheco; his grandchildren Maddie and Elliot Little; his furry grandchildren Toby and Charlie; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Military Funeral with Honors will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery where his ashes will be interred. Details will soon be forthcoming.
