Scott Willmen

February 26, 1973 - March 28, 2025

Scott Richard Willmen, age 52, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on February 26, 1973 in Lake George, NY, Scott was a devoted husband, teacher, and friend. Scott had a passion for most outdoor activities, traveling, wood working, and making the most out of life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia and his sister, Jennifer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joy and his father, Richard.

A service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 10 a.m. at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Glens Falls, NY. A Celebration of Life will follow the service at The Georgian Resort in Lake George, NY. All are welcome.

Scott was such a fine young man and student at Lake George and I have no doubt he was a caring and effective teacher himself. What a very sad loss.

I knew Scott from a young boy to a wonderful man. He was a determined ball player and he carried that energy to the rest of his life. He will be sorely missed
