My heartfelt condolences at Walters passing. I was his date for either his Junior or Senior Prom? I graduated with Jimmy.

David and Jim: I was shocked and saddened to read of Walter's death. He was the kindest (and smartest) of the three of you! I know how much he will be missed. My thoughts are with you at this time.

Dear Hagen Family,
I have been a student at ACC at various times over the past 15 years and always Walter was there to help. The library will not be the same without him. Walter was a wonderful person and an encouragment for all he came into contact with. May God comfort you in your time of need.

To Rich and Family,
For the short time I worked with you at Target I never realized that you were related to Walt. I too am a ham operator and spent many days talking with WA2-America Loves Victory! We worked many events and had wonderful times at our club meetings and picnics many years ago. I will miss his smile. His tower was always my beacon when I was traveling in the area. My prayers are with you and your family.

To the family of Mr. Hagen: I was an adult returning student, and Mr. Hagen helped me tremendously in the library. He was a wonderful man, and a great asset to ACC and the students there. He was always willing to help whoever needed it, and never made anyone feel incompetent. He will be greatly missed. May God bring you comfort in knowing how many people in the area he helped. God Bless.

With fond memories I remember Mr. Hagen. I taught Broadcasting part time while I was working full time at WWSC and insisted my students do serious library research before sharing on the radio information. Mr. Hagen gave so much time, energy and hope to those broadcasting students and as a result some moved on in radio and tv successfully.

Walt, you will be missed by everyone who has ever been a student at ACC.
Some of my earliest memories at ACC are of Walt helping me navigate the library system. He made a daunting task seem manageable and always had a smile and a helpful hand for anyone in need.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Hagen's passing. Back in 1981, I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Hagen while I was a student. He had a quick wit and he impressed me as being an extremely intelligent gentleman.
