Patrick Steichen Whaley Memoriam

Patrick is survived by his parents Robin Steichen and Darrell Whaley, brothers Jason (Krystal) Whaley and Nicholas Steichen, cousin Shada Steichen, nephews Christopher, Caleb, Tatum and Tavin, nieces Pashense, Trynadie, Chabraya and Tinley, several cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.
He was preceded in death by cousins Anthony and Brian, Aunt Lori and his grandparents.
Patrick was a 2000 graduate of Leflore High School. He attended Carl Albert State College studying pre-law and received his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. He worked as an EMT in LeFlore, Latimer and Haskell counties for 15 years, had a mechanic business and was a volunteer rural fireman. Patrick was a member of Salonia Free Will Baptist Church. Pat was "the guy who could build or fix anything," an all-around mechanic, carpenter and techie - a real McGyver.
Services under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home will be private. Patrick's family asks that you plant a tree in his memory.
