Roderick McCullough Obituary
A native of Coral Gables, Rod spent many years in Riviera Beach, Fla., and Talihina, where he lived for 33 years and worked for the U.S. National Forestry Service. After his retirement in 2008, he moved to Tallahassee. He was a Gideon for 23 years and enjoyed distributing Bibles and being a shining light to others wherever he went. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, where he was active in the children's ministry. His favorite verse was Isaiah 40:31.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Delia McCullough; two children, Lisa Keeton and her husband Andrew, Jason McCullough; three brothers, Blake McCullough, Mark McCullough and Greg McCullough; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mikky McCullough.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Bevis Funeral Home, 200 John Knox Road, Tallhassee. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Fellowship Baptist Church, 3705 N. Monroe St., Tallahassee.
