When I transferred to Lafayette in 1972, I literally knew no one at Lafayettte. Luckily, had been a member of Phi Gamma Delta @NYU and was able to immediately join the brotherhood @Lafayette. Barry went out of his way to make me feel welcome in my new environment. He was always upbeat, encoouraging and interested in how "I" was doing. He had a knack for making you feel like you were the most important person he knew. Although I only had a short time with him at Lafayette, he was as good and true a friend as I have ever known. May the memory of his life comfort you for every day of your lives.

I am so saddened to hear the news of Barry's passing. I always loved to see his smiling face and could always count on him for a great story or good joke, always so full of life.

Barry was a great guy! He always had a big smile and a great story to tell. A big WVU supporter too always cheering on the Mountaineers. He'll be missed by many I'm sure. My heartfelt sympathy to the family and all who were close to him.

Barry was the greatest person to be friends with. He would always give great advice. Always able to pick the best football team. And always supported his own favorite team. Hooray for Barry. I hope God has a good team up there for you.
