To the Williams and Carrig families,
My brother Norman and I were thinking about special people in our lives who we would like to see again from our childhood in King of Prussia. So I got on my computer and found that she is no longer with us. I am so sorry that we waited so long. Donna was a wonderful high school friend and more. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Bill & Family: Our deepest sympathy; she was a beautiful and sweet cousin. Wish we could have seen each other more, but distance and lives separated us. We stayed with you in the upstairs apartment so many years ago; still don't know how you got furniture up there! Our prayers are with you, Sheila (Carrig) Batcho and Dennis

Cheers Donna as we will miss you!

Williams and Carig Families: I am so deeply sorry to hear of the tragic loss of Donna. Your Mother. Your Devoted wife. Special Sister. Best Friend. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers and I am sending love to you all.
I will be on the beach today, looking out across the Pacific, and I will be thinking of all of you and Donna with every rising and receding wave, beneath the blue of the sky and heat of the singular light, as the tide ebbs and flows.
Because I cannot be there today and tomorrow in body, I would like to say a few words here in the Guest Book.
Donna was a magnificent a woman, a true architect of her American family. She has endlessly influenced me. Over the years, I have maintained, with regular frequency, a remembrance of 'the way Donna does things' -- the milk in glass bottles, 'gravy' for pasta and homemade meatballs, shoes off before walking in, open up the mouth to (learn to) speak the mind. I remember you, Donna. She taught me - and continues to teach me - so much. To have style, to cater dinner after dinner for all the neighborhood kids and breakfast, too. PB & J's, popsicles. French toast and Bisquick pancakes. But you be sure to bring your plate to the sink!
And -- one day -- too much laundry detergent! That equals two feet of bubbles pouring out across the rug and through the open side door, and into that sunshining yard, Great groupings of Bubbles! Flying around on the whipping wind! Magical! That's how I remember the Williams household. Donna ran that thing like a Chief Financial Officer. She was the founder, president and secretary. With her constant, Bill, standing by. That Lady will always be a powerhouse. I am so sorry for your loss, today. And though my mind returns to - and is permanently rooted - in 1984 when Donna took me upstairs to the special Silver and Lavender and Cherry room, the elegant room 'For Adults' (no children allowed) -- being taken up there in to her sanctuary of adult womanhood, finesse and beauty and -- elegance -- sheer elegance -- the Lady had a way -- And she asked me to put on the 45 of Wham's "Careless Whisper" and took me into those strong arms of hers. And just simply danced with me. And how true those lyrics remain! "I"m never gonna dance again - the way I danced with you.."
And though I've grieved the loss of her (and all of you) for so many years, the permanence of Passing is so different.
Dear Donna, I love you! You are irreplaceable! Thank You so much for being my alternate Mother throughout my childhood! Thank you for being there! Thank you for all those sandwiches and good advices. You continue to -- and will always -- live in my heart and thoughts! Love Always, Kyra

How about one more dance?
Be strong like bull, weak like weathered steel. Shed tears because you're human. Laugh because this whole scene is some crazy magic, and let that smile shine through you. Ride it when it rises up. That smile IS you.

Dear Bill and Family,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you.
Our lives will truly feel the void without the "Light and Laughter" Donna brought to each of us who were fortunate enough to have known her.
She touched our lives in such a special way. Giving a part of herself to so many; with no request of her was left undone.
May God's Healing Love comfort and support you at this most difficult time......
Sincerely,
Sue & Bill Ferrier & Family
