Elizabeth Banyacskay Obituary

ELIZABETH M. BANYACSKAY, 88, OF PHOENIXVILLE Elizabeth M. "Betty" Banyacskay, 88, of Phoenixville, PA, died Thursday afternoon, April 11, 2013 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Gombos) Banyacskay. She was a 1944 graduate of the Phoenixville High School. She worked for years as a machinist at DeSannos and later as a sewing machine operator. Her last job was stitching samples at the Spring City Knitting Company. She was very proud of the fact that she retired on her 65th birthday. She was a member of the Parkside United Church of Christ in Phoenixville. Ms. Banyacskay was a very devoted care giver to her sister Rosie. Her family was very important to her. Ms. Banyacskay is survived by three nieces, Sandra Alderfer and Judy McKeever, of Schwenksville, and Nancy Buckman of Collegeville; two nephews, Alexander and Andrew Szucs, of New Holland; She was predeceased by three sisters, Barbara Szucs, Mary and Rose, and two brothers, Joseph and William. There were five other siblings deceased during their childhood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be her family member, Rev. Randy W. Mullens. Burial will be in the Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. Monday morning at the funeral home.
