ELWOOD C. FIELDS 1954 - 2015 Elwood C. “Butch” Fields, 61, husband of Linda (Packer) Fields, of Phoenixville, PA, died Saturday, July 25, 2015 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA. Born in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Richard W. and Leanore (Young) Fields. Butch was an Eagles Fan, he enjoyed watching Nascar, camping, RC boating and racing and his custom built 1965 Chevy. He was a “Jack of all trades”, friend to all and willing to lend a hand to anyone. He fought a courageous battle with cancer. He was a hero to us all. Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters, Stacey and Michelle, wife of Terry; grandchildren, Lani, David, Keith, Joey and Justin; brothers, Sam, Chuckie and Jackie; sisters, Evie and Deb, and step-mother, Peggy. He was preceded in death by his father Richard, his mother Leanore and his brother Billy. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Phoenixville Veterans of Forgein War, 200 Starr Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 2 to 3 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Phoenixville Cancer Center, 824 Main Street, Suite 101, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
