Florence Karwoski Obituary

Florence E. (Schuda) Karwoski, 85, wife of the late Richard J. Karwoski, Sr., LTC, US Army Retired, Upper Providence Twp., died Monday, March 7, 2022, in Paoli Hospital, Willistown Twp. Florence was born on October 12, 1936, in Camden, NJ, to the late Paul and Helen (Tolpa) Schuda. She was a registered nurse, graduating from Pennsylvania Hospital School Of Nursing. Before retiring, Florence was a nurse at Spring-Ford School District’s Oaks Elementary School. She was a member of St. Eleanor Catholic Church. Florence is survived by her children, Henry, husband of Tracy Karwoski, Garnet Valley, Richard Jr., husband of Beth Karwoski, Malvern, Paul, husband of Mary Karwoski, Bala Cynwyd, Anita, wife of Anthony Fragale, Lafayette Hill, and Jeanne, wife of Eli Kahn, Malvern; her sister, Lorraine Palmer, Raleigh NC; brother in law, Donald Karwoski, Plymouth Pa. , 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426. Burial will be in Limerick Garden Of Memories, Limerick Twp. Friends may call from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, Monday, at church. Also, in leu of flowers a contribution can be made in Florence Karwoski’s name to St. Eleanor Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.

What a lovely Mass and luncheon to honor a great woman, Mrs K, as I knew her.Always a pleasure to talk to her and Eli was right : she was well rounded intellectually.
I could always sense the love for her from all the K´s and the grandchildren.

I´ve known Florence and Richard for many years. Meet them at the dentist office then at Kohl´s when she came in to shop. It was always great to see her and we would talk . I will miss you sweet Florence R.I.P.
