Frank Robert Loeper, 62, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on October 21, 2021, at Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Joanne (Kotanchick) Loeper, with whom he shared 21 years of marriage. Born in Phoenixville, PA, on January 8, 1959, Frank was the son of the late Louis E. Loeper, Sr., and Virginia (Zecoski) Loeper. Frank graduated from Spring-Ford High School in 1978, and shortly thereafter began his 40-year career working as a groundskeeper for Montgomery County Parks & Recreation. Frank loved spending time outdoors, and especially enjoyed his time in the mountains in Smethport, PA. In addition to his wife, Frank is lovingly remembered by his brother, Louis (& Linda) Loeper, Jr., his brothers-in-law, Thomas Kotanchick and Henry Kotanchick; and his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. In addition to his parents, Frank is predeceased by his stepmother, Marjorie Loeper; and his sister, Paula Loeper. Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the American Cancer Society at https://www.cancer.org/.
