He was a "regular guy;" something they'd say back in the day. He seemed perfectly suited for his work, being level headed and unflappable, I never recall him losing his patience with students or anyone else. He and I had a laugh now and then, in our regular albeit brief duties together at the schools. I miss those days. I'll always have pleasant memories of Fred.

Dear Martha & family, I am saddened to know that your loved one has passed away. It was many years ago that Martha was also called Missy. The Bauses lived on College Street, and the back yards connected to those on West 2nd Street. I remember Danny and Missy, and Mr. & Mrs. Bause. Always friendly and contributing to the Boyertown Community. Mr. Bause was kind enough to remember my mother, and former '43 classmate at their 65th reunion. Please accept my most sincere sympathy on the loss of your loved one who also served the family, school, and community. With kind regards, Linda (Gresh) Ferraro
