Gerald Moses Obituary

Gerald A. Moses, 84, of Phoenixville, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2018 at the Seasons Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 14, 1933 in Chester Springs PA, he was the son of the late William and Hazel (Kirkner) Moses, and loving husband of Dorothy V. (Geib) Moses. Gerald was a graduate of Phoenixville High School and would later go on to enlist in the Army where he would serve his country during the Korean War. Gerald worked for many years at the Howell Dor Co., and drove for Tom Oats, and Kelly Chevrolet, he was also an avid street rod enthusiast and you could find him working in his garage on his cars whenever he had the opportunity. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and dear friend to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be missed by many. In addition to his loving wife, Gerald is survived by his two daughters, Deborah Moses Hallman, and Sandy Moses Raichle; three grandchildren, Gerald Moses Schwartz, Thomas David Raichle, and Daniel Ryan Raichle; three great grandchildren, Brianna Schwartz, Liliana Schwartz, and James Gerald Schwartz; he is also survived by two step great grandchildren, Kiley and Keira. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Brian Moses; and one brother, Kenneth Moses. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 6:00 8:00 PM at the Campbell Ennis Klotzbach Funeral Home, 610 South Main St. Phoenixville PA 19460. Services will follow the calling time at 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Seasons Hospice, 140 Nutt Rd, Phoenixville, PA 19460, or Bayada Home Health.
