Once again, Ricky was probably my first best friend. We lived in Ardmore next-door to his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Hill, and on weekends he would come with is family to visit them. I'd wait impatiently for those weekends so we could go out and play. I am trying to remember if either of us had even started grade school yet! But interestingly enough, my family moved to Malvern in '56; years later so did the Threadgills! I saw him towering over the others as I walked down a hall at Great Valley High between classes. Couldn't believe it! The Lord took him too soon; may he always rest in peace.

I knew Rick from early childhood days in Ardmore when he would come to visit our next-door neighbors, Mr. & Mrs. Hill, of Hill & Perry Moving Company. It was always a real treat for me to play street football or something with him and his cousin, Roy Hill. Then later Rick showed up at Great Valley High School and we graduated together, Class of '66. Hadn't seen him for years, but I will miss him nonetheless. GOOD guy all the way through. My Sincerest Condolences to the family. Dan Rossi
