"Jolly Joel" was really a great man to know and I was so sad to hear he'd left us (this morning from a mutual friend.) We worked together on an estate in Kimberton after Doehlers. During that time he sold a nice Triumph that he loved dearly, so last year when I bumped into him at the TSC and he told me he'd gotten another one, we were both happy! It turned out to be the last time we met. He never mentioned cancer.
Lori, Nick and Josh you're in our prayers. Joel taught me a lot about horses and machinery, but the best thing he did was to model a good example of how to live and enjoy life!

We sold some hay to Joel over the years. We realized what a quality person he was.we always enjoyed hay deliveries because we knew we were in for a time of laughing and interesting conversatio. there are few people like him today he will be missed.God bless all of you from Don, Robert & Harold Grim ( Doby Farm)

I am very sorry to hear of Joel passing away. Joel was my best friend in grade school and through highschool. The last I saw Joel was at my wedding in 1979, we joked about how things change. My love of horses probably started when I use to help him clean stalls those many years ago.
