I am so sorry to read about Jack´s passing . I always looked forward to playing in the orchestra for many of the church services and school musicals he directed. He had a great sense of humor that made working with him enjoyable. Most of all though he was a total professional and made what he did look easy. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Irene Guerriero

Mr. Charles had an incredible gift for sharing his love of music and teaching others how to find that within themselves. For even those with the sourest set of vocal cords, he could find the sparks of musicality and train them to sing. During my time as a student at PVHS (1992-1996), chorus unlocked that transcendent joy of singing and harmonizing with other people. And I tell you, I witnessed some of the most improbable of students really enjoy "chorus". Thank you Mr. Charles for your lasting contributions in adding richness to my life, even 25 years later! I wish your family comfort and peace.

Your family has had a huge influence in my life. Andrea was my wonderful kindergarten teacher! Jack was my music teacher. Your Grandparents were great and went to Harvey Cedars in New Jersey every year! Your family is like my family! Love you !!!!

Dear Andrea. We are so terribly sad to hear of Jack's passing. He was such an amazing mentor/teacher/friend to Jacob and a friend to all of us. He was truly one of a kind. He not only taught Jacob music, but he taught him many important life lessons. He was such a wonderful person and I know that his good nature lives on in his beautiful grandchildren and daughter. We can only imagine your heartache. I wish we were in the country so we could give you and your family our love and condolences in person. We are praying for you to find strength during this difficult time. We love you. Cherie, Dean, Eryn, Nathan and Jacob Werner
