John J. Gable

JOHN J. GABLE, 85, OF NORTH COVENTRY John J. Gable (Gajewski), 85, husband of Myrtle A. (Myers) Gable of North Coventry, died on Friday, January 23, 2015 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, PA he was a son of the late Chester A. and Anna P. (Pasierbak) Gajewski. John honorably served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. Known by his coworkers as "Moose", he worked as a Tire Builder at the former B.F. Goodrich Company in Oaks, retiring after 37 years. John was a self-taught contractor and was proud of the numerous major home projects he designed and implemented. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Phoenixville. He was a dedicated and loving husband and father, and is survived by his wife of 60 years. In addition, left behind to cherish his memory is his daughter, Sharon A. Gable; son, John J. Gable; grandson, Michael A. Priotte, and sister, Doris Hoal. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Lynn Priotte and a brother, Czeslaw Gajewski. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 219 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery. A viewing will be held in the church on Friday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Arrangements are by the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home, Phoenixville, PA.
