John Wojton Obituary
Born in Mahanoy City, Pa., he was a son of the late Henry and Mary (Justick) Wojton.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
John retired from the former B.F. Goodrich Tire Company in Oaks, Pa., and also ran his own upholstery business.
He was member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Phoenixville; Polish American Citizens Club, Phoenixville; Loyal Order of Moose, Phoenixville; Liberty Fire Company, Spring City; and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Kenneth and wife Anne Wojton of East Norriton, Pa.; daughters, Sharon and husband Joseph Gravenstine of Larksville, Pa, Monica Minninger of Pottstown, Pa., Patricia and husband Kevin Daly of Marlton, N.J.; grandchildren: Melissa Coine, Amy and husband Steve Solloway, Annamarie Wojton, John Wojton, Brandon Minninger, Victoria Daly, Daniel Daly; and brother Henry Wojton of Trappe, Pa.
He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Jean Morott, Michael Wojton, Walter Wojton, Helen Cauffman, Joseph Wojton, and Thaddeus Wojton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main St., Phoenixville, Pa., on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, where a Prayer Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 219 Dayton St., Phoenixville, Pa., at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
