JOSEPH A. OROSZ JR., 95, OF PHOENIXVILLE Joseph A. Orosz Jr., 95, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Sunday, May 5, 2013. He was the husband of the late Anna (Vasko) Orosz who died February 22, 2013. Born in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Barbara (Rusznak) Orosz. Joseph was a Sergeant serving in the 37th Squadron of the 15th Army Air Forces in World War II from 1941 to 1945. He served in North Africa, Algeria, Tunisia and Italy. He worked for the former B.F. Goodrich Tire Company in Oaks, PA. Joseph was a founding member of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church in Phoenixville and was a member of the St. Nicholas Brotherhood. He was a member of the church board, serving as Treasurer, and a member of the church choir and altar society. He loved cutting grass at the church and working at the social center. Surviving are his son, Joseph A. Orosz III and his wif,e Rachel of Prince Frederick, MD; granddaughters, Rachel A. Orosz of Lansdale, PA, and Kathryn M., wife of Michael Harrington of Telford, PA; great-grandchildren, Memory Rosz and Chase Norman Harrington; sister-in-law, Theresa Voytowicz, and brother-in-law, Paul Flanegan. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Stephen, John and Frank Orosz, and his sister, Anna Flanegan. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his funeral service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Mont Clare, PA. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 12 to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Seasons Hospice, 700 South Henderson Road, Suite 225, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
