Lynn Victoria “Vicki” (Moyer) Trego, 75, of Douglassville, widow of Albert Trego, Jr., suddenly passed away on Friday April 23, 2021. Born on February 18, 1946 in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth A. Moyer and the late Marie H. (Hoffman) Moyer. Vicki led a full life as a mother, wife, sister, and friend. She was a lifelong resident of the Pottstown area and a 1964 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. Vicki was a cheerleader in high school, and her outgoing personality inspired others – as a member of the Reunion Committee she continued to celebrate the Class of ’64 for the next 57 years. Vicki touched many lives during her years at the “Shoe Box” and other local businesses where she was able to do what she was best at - making friends and caring for other people. Vicki was a very active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church where she raised her children, taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and was serving on the Call Committee. She volunteered her time selflessly to provide services for those in need, assisting with the distribution of donated food and clothing. She was known for taking charge and getting things done, no matter what was needed. As the President of the Parkerford Women’s Club for four years, she dedicated her time to organizing community events, like the Annual Easter Egg Hunt and the Family Christmas Party. After the passing of her beloved husband, she lived in Douglassville Village, where she enjoyed the companionship of neighbors, friends, and her adoring shitzus, Molly & Abby. She loved tending to her flowers and playing dominoes. She is survived by two sons, Timothy A. Trego and his wife Lori, of Denver, CO; Kenneth L. Trego and his wife Lisa, of Bechtelsville, PA; a daughter, Elizabeth A., wife of Nicholas Rossi, of Scottsdale, AZ; a brother, Robert K. Moyer and his wife Christine, of Linfield, PA; a sister, Ann, wife of Stan McLivee, of Pottstown; four grandchildren, Emily R. Trego, Bryan L. Trego, Blake E. Pascal, Jayden M. Trego; and one great-grandson on the way. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Thursday May 6, 2021 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hanover & Walnut Streets, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Christian McMullan. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church. The family requests that you kindly observe COVID protocols during the indoor and outdoor services. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to Humane Pennsylvania online at by contacting Chelsea Capilano at Humane Pennsylvania at (610) 750-6100 ext 299. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.

I met Vicki when she moved into Douglass Village. We shared many laughs while exercising, playing Bonco and making mats for the homeless.
To her family.....I pray God gives you comfort during this difficult sad time.

I knew her as Vicki, from OJR. She was one of the rare girls I came across as treated everyone fairly. Whether you were in the IN crowd, or not. I believe God gave her many talents in helping people here on the earth. Now God is using her talents in Heaven. She, like my late wife, Judy Lynn (Francis) Mauger WILL be sorely missed. God comfort ALL of us that knew and admired her. Art Mauger, fellow classmate.
