Mildred Favinger Obituary

Mildred A. (Boughter) Favinger, 96, of Pottstown, widow of David W. Favinger, passed away on Tuesday at Manatawny Manor, East Coventry Twp. Born in Pine Forge, PA, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Boughter and the late Catherine (Harner) Boughter. Mildred was a clerk for JC Penny’s for twenty five years. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Pottstown, where she was very active and taught Sunday School. She is survived by a daughter, Tina F. wife of Duke Keiser, Southern Shores, NC; a sister, Virginia Bernhart, Boyertown; four grandchildren & ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Robert Boughter. A graveside service will be held 11:30 A.M. on Saturday March 10, 2018 at Highland Memorial Park, 701 Farmington Ave., Pottstown. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 927 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
