Neva Clemens

Neva L. (Wanner) Clemens, 98, formerly of Lederach, Pa., died on Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 at Parkhouse Providence Pointe, Upper Providence. She was the wife of the late Robert S. Clemens, who died in 1986.
Born in Lederach, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Irwin G. and Maggie (Landis) Wanner.
In earlier years, Mrs. Clemens worked for the Norristown Box Factory 1929-1935. For most of her life, she was a homemaker. She taught Sunday school at Limerick Chapel for many years. She was a current member of Berean Bible Church. (1980-present).
She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren, cooking, baking, canning, freezing, reading and doing word search puzzles.
Mrs. Clemens was a Real Women of prayer, especially for her family.
Survivors include three sons R. Duane Clemens and his wife Mary Ann (Loughery) Clemens of Pottstown, Larry C. Clemens, and his wife Ruth Anne (Hallman) Clemens of Limerick, Pa., Sidney L. Clemens and his wife Sharon (Stringfellow) of Green Lane; a son- in-law, James "Pooch" Evans of Boyertown, and his wife Margaret Ann Evans; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, F. Lucille Evans; her grandson, Bradley D. Clemens; her brothers, Russell, Randall, Robert and Donald Wanner; and her sisters, Laura Kriebel, Gladys Jowett and Dorothy Beech.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 at the Berean Bible Church, 2675 E. High St., Pottstown, PA. 19464. Rev. Jace Erb and Rev. Scott Evans will officiate. Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick. Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
