Paul Favinger Obituary
Paul D. Favinger, 61, of Pottstown, passed away suddenly Saturday at his residence.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Charles Favinger and Sarah (Dunlap) Favinger, of Pottstown.
Paul was a wonderful son and would do anything to help you. He was very funny and could always make you laugh. He played basketball and baseball throughout junior and senior high school at Pottsgrove High School. He was very athletic and won the best athlete award in his senior year. He also loved playing golf.
Paul was last employed at Unitec in Royersford.
Surviving along with his mother is his brother Ronald and his dog Snickers, whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his nieces, Jill Gillette, Diane Mower, Major Jennifer Martinez ,USAF, and great-nieces and nephews Zachary, Alycia, Caitlin, Madison, Molly, Breanne and Jacob.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin St. in Pottstown with Rev. Randy Shanley officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown. Visitation will be Friday from 9 to 9:45a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Paul's name to the Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweifford Road, Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
