Paul D. Urner

1955 - 2021

Paul D. Urner, 65, of Wellsboro passed away September 19, 2021. He was born December 2, 1955 in Pottstown, PA to Harry N. and Kathleen (Fisher) Urner. Paul earned an Associate’s Degree in Business and built a career as an operations manager in retail. He was a very active member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Wellsboro, a member of Sons of the American Legion Squadron 601 Sonestown, PA, and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Paul was an avid gardener, and enjoyed walking especially through the neighborhoods of Wellsboro. He was a rabid Philadelphia Flyers fan and a dedicated Mopar Maniac. Paul is survived by his brother: Mark A. Urner (Brenda) of Muncy Valley, PA, a nephew: Mark R. Urner (Kristyn Lykken) of Oswego, IL, and a niece: Sara K. Healy (Cameron) of New Holland, PA, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. Peter’s Catholic Church at 12:00 noon on October 16, 2021 with Rev. Joseph Mosley officiating. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery of Pottstown, PA.
