Robert Louis Cronce

Robert Louis Cronce, 81, of Elverson Robert Louis Cronce, 81, of Elverson, a retired computer engineer, died Monday, December 6, 2010, in Brandywine Hospital, Coatesville. Born in Flemington, NJ, on July 21, 1921, he was the son of the late Louis B. and Eleanor (Williamson) Cronce. He was a veteran, having served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, and received the National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Cronce worked for the Unisys Corp. in Blue Bell, as a computer engineer. He was the loving husband of the late Elizabeth (Johnson) Cronce, who died February 6, 1973. Surviving are one son, Eric (Gale) Cronce of Macungie; one daughter, Diane (Glenn) Barrie of Collegeville; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, and one sister, Margaret Opdyke of Clinton, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Saturday, January 15, 2010 at 1 p.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 7 St. Andrew's Lane, Glenmore. Friends may call on Saturday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are by the Szpindor Funeral Home, 101 N. Park Ave., Trooper.
