Robert G. (Bob) Mehlman Robert G. (Bob) Mehlman of Exeter Township, passed away in his residence on Friday, January 1, 2021 with family by his side. Born November 13, 1939, to Irvin G. and Emily O. (Briel) Melman in Lower Pottsgrove Township. He was predeceased by his lovely wife Jeanette E. (Stout) Mehlman on March 27, 2005. Bob was a graduate of Pottstown High School, class of 1957. He retired from Lucent Technologies as a tool and die maker after 38 years in 1997. He and his wife, Jeanette, along with his brother Irv, built and operated Green Holly Campground in Cape May Courthouse, Goshen, NJ from 1970-1983. He had also renovated and rented apartments from 1984-2000. After retirement, he enjoyed taking trips with Jeanette in their motorhome across the country for five years. During “football season” he loved watching the Eagles and would send most of the games at Rod and Kim’s. He was an avid stock market enthusiast, enjoyed dining with friends and family, always enjoyed playing or watching golf and loved cars. He was a very kind and generous man, loved and appreciated by all that met him. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t talk about, he loved conversation, no matter the subject. He is survived by son Rod G. Mehlman, husband of Kimberly (Russell) Mehlman, Exeter Township and 2 grandchildren, Zachary Mehlman of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jill (Mehlman) Keller, wife of William Keller of Hamburg and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Irv Mehlman and 2 sisters Mildred (Mehlman) Sosa and Dorothy (Mehlman) Henry. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, services and burial will be scheduled at a later date to be announced. Auman’s, Inc. Funeral Home, Exeter Township is in charge of arrangements.
