Adeline Cascio Obituary
Beacon - Adeline A. Cascio, a Beacon resident since 2006, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. She let go peacefully with all of her children by her side. She was 88.
Daughter of the late Alfonso and Theresa (Napolitano) Passariello, she was born in North Tarrytown on December 6, 1931. She worked as a proofreader for the New York Daily News and later worked as a teacher aide for Tarrytown Public Schools for many years up until her retirement.
On May 17, 1953, she married Joseph P. Cascio, Sr. at Immaculate Conception Church in North Tarrytown. Adeline was predeceased by her husband on March 11, 2016.
Survivors include her children: Russell J. Cascio of Wappingers Falls, Philomena Kyle & husband Brian of Sleepy Hollow, Joseph P. Cascio, Jr. & wife Judy of Beacon, Peter J. Cascio & wife Jennifer of Virginia Beach, and Theresa Brown of Tarrytown; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives & friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Adeline was also predeceased by her five siblings as well as her daughter-in-law, Deborah Cascio, and son-in-law, James Brown.
Visitation will be held from 9 am to 10 am on Thursday, July 23 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will take place at 10 am, followed by interment at Wappingers Falls Rural Cemetery. PLEASE NOTE: In compliance with NYS guidelines, social distancing and face masks will be required and capacity may be limited. All attendees should be prepared for potential extended waiting periods.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to A.S.P.C.A. (www.aspca.org) or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org)
